Calculations were performed to verify that the Outer Shield Assembly will support the weight of the Water Extended Polyester (WEP) shielding and the lead shielding. It was also shown that the Outer Shield can withstand the forces of a seismic event and will remain stable. The results of the calculations were performed in accordance with ANSI/AISC N690 and confirm that the Outer Shield Assembly will perform as designed.
